Organic Palm oil is a plant oil derived from the fruit of the oil palm, a tropical tree originating from West Africa.
Sharing many characteristics similar to Red Palm Oil & Palm Kernel Oil, it is rich in vitamins E & K, making it a good anti-oxidant with several health benefits.
Palm oil is a great source of cartenoids (though not as high as in the Red Palm Oil), an anti-oxidant that protects the cells from environmental damages.
This ingredient maintains excellent stability at high temperatures, making it an ideal ingredient in soapmaking and cosmetics recipes.
This oil has deeply nourishing and conditioning effects on the skin.

In soapmaking, Organic Palm Oil easily saponifies and helps to speed up the saponification of other oils used in combination with it.
This oil is very useful in a soap/skincare recipes as a thickening agent where rigidity is desired, due to a high content (roughly 50%) of saturated fat.
Very popular for use in stick formulations, balms, and body butters.
Also helps to resist melting of the finished product in cold process soaps.
Because of its ability to increase the moisture retention of the skin, it may be used to aid in the treatment of dry skin conditions.
When used in cold process soap, it makes a nice hard bar when used in combination with other oils such as coconut and olive oil.
Storage Recommendations
Store between 32?C & 40?C
Has a shelf-life of up to 2 years when stored under proper conditions.
