Juniperberry Essential Oil
Scent: While in the conifer family this one is not as sharp as pine or spruce. It has more sweetness and warmth, an almost fruity undertone. Its refreshing, yet mellow at the same time.
Blends to try: cypress, bergamot, cedarwood, chamomile, clary sage, elemi, eucalyptus, geranium, lavender, myrrh, pine, rosemary, sandalwood, vetiver.
Uses:Good airborne disinfectant, for acne, hair loss, oily skin, blocked pores, varicose veins, eczema (wet), inflammation, rheumatism, general stimulant,colds/flu, toothache pain, poor memory (I gotta get some!!). For those of us who do this kind of thing, it’s also excellent to uplift and clear negative energy from a room and brings love energy from others. Sounds wonderful as a diffuser oil.
Safety: Avoid extensive use on delicate skin, with kidney disease or acute kidney/bladder infections. Dilute well, avoid prolonged use and avoid use during pregnancy.
