Clary Sage Essential Oil
Scent: This oil has been a long time favourite, one sniff and I just want more. It’s a little different than any other. It has a scent that is light and refreshing with a subtle hint of my grandfather’s pipe. Ironic since this is a classic woman’s oil known to be of benefit for PMS.
Safety: Avoid during pregnancy, low blood pressure or estrogen dependent cancers or cysts.
Blends to try: Terrific blended with lavender, at almost any ratio depending on what outcome you are looking for.
Uses: Good in deodorant, for reducing stress. Also said to be astringent, skin toner good for wrinkles and acne. So now I have an even better excuse to use it!
Safety: Generally non irritating although it is always recommended to spot test before using any new product.
