Unrefined Shea Butter – Beige – Ghana
My curiosity finally got the best of me, I have been so pleased with the Ivory Shea that I had to try the beige. This shea butter comes from the same supplier as the Ivory. I was surprised at how much I like it! It has a “real” beige colour, almost a light coffee colour. The two butters are much alike except that the colour of this shea is a darker colour and the shea butter is a little moister, a natural for formulations containing cocoa butter, vanilla or coffee type scents. Another option when colour counts!
This is a butter traditionally used by African women for their baby’s skin as well as their own. A perfect natural healing barrier, I wish I had known about this stuff when my children where babies!
