Olive Oil Squalene
This ingredient is one of my favourite additives.
I put it in ALL of my face products.
It’s a natural with Rice Bran Oil, Emu or Virgin Coconut Oil (see recipe below) and a must have for any anti wrinkle serum.
Great for hair too.
Isolated without chemicals from Olive Oil, Squalane has been called Natures Facelift, so I had to try it.
Said to be good for wrinkles, UV damage, chapped skin – an all around amazing additive.
Odourless and colourless, Squalane helps to carry other nutritives into deeper tissues.
Stable and non greasy, it feels like silk to me.
I put a small amount in my spray bottle (otherwise it will clog the sprayer) along with some hydrosols that I keep for my facial toner/refresher on my desk.
Or I sometimes use it straight on the under eye area or places on my face that are a little dry and could use some glow.
It sinks it very nicely if you don’t use too much.
It gives them a little skin softening boost as well.
Usage Rate: 2% to 100%
