White Christmas Sale, How To Wholesale, DIY Christmas Guide Contributions
- TALKING OUT LOUD
We have a fair bit of news to cover this week. I am running slightly behind because the Christmas Season for me is also traditionally everything that can break does as well as what ever can go wrong and interupt my schedule does too, you probably are familiar with it as well :0)
So I have had to replace my computer, move things, learn things and do without things that where on my old computer. But I like the new one, I really wasn’t expecting to like the new monitor so much, I liked my old one, but these widescreen thingy’s are nifty!
My van is broken, I’ve spent days smack dab in the middle of the Christmas hussle shopping for something else to drive. We are out in the country and I have a new driver, my son who will be driving it too so I am hyper concerned with getting a safe model. I almost bought a Jeep Liberty (a red little number, so cute!) but was concerned with roll over stats, so I think I am going with a Subaru Forester (when will I be able to choose cute over sensible ever again :0), my neighbour has one so it has to be good. Now I need to find a good used one somewhere, wish me luck! I have to check out a few dealers near here, so maybe I’ll be on the road again soon.
NOTE: I have really found out the power of using the internet for shopping research, I am so much more educated now than I was last week about cars and trucks and safety etc. I highly recommend before any major purchase that you check it out on the internet first, because “they” won’t tell you!
On a sadder note, my husband’s grandmother died last Sunday night, so we had family and funeral things this past week as well. She was an amazing woman, one that I always looked up to. She serves as a role model and inspiration to me as I get older and see my life stages evolving as well. If you’d like to read about her and some insight on how gramma’s can impact the lives of their families more than they may think, I have a blog entry here Long Live Nana’s and Gramma’s
