Treating Insect Bites and Stings

Some insect bites and stings can be downright nasty. I had a deer fly (or was it a moose!) chasing me around yesterday that tore a chunk out. Then you get the nasty little no see ums (I have no idea what they are really called)  You can hardly see them but they are worse than mosquitoe bites.

I’ve been finding this year that a cream I made with a bit of calamine powder and lavender essential oil has been giving me relief when I’ve been bitten.
