Easter theme ideas to play with

Posted on April 8, 2007

I was trying to think of something nice and Easterish for this weekend, since the really colourful and artistic soaps seem to be more in line with synthetic colouring and melt and pour soap, I couldn’t really think of too much besides a soap on a rope that I used to make with easter egg fancy molds.

I coloured the outside pattern with mica’s and dyed the string a few different colours with food colouring (I think). They where very nice.

Bath bombs are something that can be nice and colourful and an easter mold of various kinds could be found. You can even make chocolate ones.

Experimentation with some unrefined cocoabutter could give some seriously nice results, both with bath bombs and other items.

And last but not least, I was quite surprised when I spilled a bit of Lemon Eucalyptus essential oil yesterday. I mopped it up with a tea towel and thought that should smell nice for awhile.

This morning I noticed it still smelled great, so I transfered the towel to my office. Often scents will bring colours to my mind. This one reminds me of yellow (maybe the lemon has something to do with it :0) It’s a perfect easter scent.

Don’t forget scent this weekend if you are looking for a nice way to enhance your home this Easter weekend.
